Dental Hygienist

Summary: Specializes in preventive oral health, typically focusing on techniques in oral hygiene. Provide preventive services to promote and maintain good oral health; educational services to help patients develop behaviors that promote better oral health and help them understand the importance of practicing these behaviors; and therapeutic services or treatments meant to stop diseases and maintain healthy tissues in the mouth.

Education

Graduate from a dental hygiene program with an Associate degree, certificate, Bachelor’s degree, and/or Master’s degree from a dental hygienist school that is accredited by the American Dental Association (ADA). Experience: Two years of experience with confirmation of written and clinical board examination records. Licenses, Certification, and/or Registrations : Licensed to practice in the State of Alabama
