Senior Estimator - Structural Steel

Yonkers Contracting Company, Inc. is seeking a qualified Senior Estimator with a minimum of 10 years of civil construction experience.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough analysis of bid documents Define and quantify scopes of work Perform detail bid cost estimates using estimating software HCSS Research new materials and equipment for cost and constructability Solicit subcontractor proposals and perform a complete analysis Provide enhanced concepts for alternate material, equipment, and means-and-methods Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in civil or mechanical engineering or construction management Ability to estimate and price for multiple bids at one time Strong understanding of the greater NY, NJ, and CT construction markets Proficient in HCSS, Excel, and WORD Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills Knowledge of AutoCAD, AGTEK on-screen takeoff, and ISQFT Compensation Medical and dental insurance 401(k) Student loan reimbursement and/or tuition reimbursement Vehicle stipend, toll reimbursement, gas card Yearly bonus About Yonkers Contracting Company, Inc.
