DSP/Caregiver, Double Shifts on Weekends

Direct Support Professional $17.50/hour and up (based on education and experience) Plus .75/hour shift differential for 2nd Full-time, 40 hours weekly Saturday: 16 hours (1st 7a-3p /2nd 3p-11p) Sunday: 16 hours (1st 7a-3p /2nd 3p-11p) +1 weekday: 8 hours (2nd or 3rd shift) Who We Are: Unconditional love for people with disabilities – this is the heart of who we are and whom we employ at Cedar Lake.

We are the largest private provider of residential and community-based services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in the state of Kentucky. We are a local non-profit organization founded in 1970 by Louisville-area parents of people with IDD. The care and support include activities of daily living, productive activities, and leisure activities as appropriate. The DSP will provide active treatment, safety, and supervision to individuals of the lodge while promoting inclusion in the community. Please note that Cedar Lake Lodge, Park Place, and Sycamore Run are Intermediate Care Facilities, placing us under the “CMS Omnibus COVID-19 Health Care Staff Vaccination Interim Rule.

” Under this rule, employees must be vaccinated or have an approved medical or religious exemption prior to employment.
