Date: June 25, 2026 From: Office of the Superintendent Subject: Vacancy Position: Per Diem Vice Principal (Temporary/Interim) � Pennsauken Intermediate School Position Overview The Pennsauken Intermediate School is seeking a highly organized, dynamic, and experienced educational leader for a temporary, per diem Assistant Principal role.

Reporting directly to the building principal, the selected candidate will help maintain a safe and orderly school environment, support teachers with instructional leadership, handle student behavioral concerns, and ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the building. Primary Responsibilities: Assist the principal in the overall administration and instructional leadership of the intermediate building.

Manage student discipline, implement positive behavior supports, and address parent concerns. Oversee school safety, daily routines, and building security. Provide support and supervision to instructional and support staff. Collaborate with the administrative team to ensure compliance with district policies and New Jersey educational standards.

Qualifications

Certification: Valid New Jersey Principal Certificate Experience: Prior administrative/vice principal experience in a public school setting is strongly preferred. Elementary or middle school experience is highly valued. Skills: Strong communication, conflict resolution, and organizational skills. Background Check: Must clear a criminal history background check in accordance with New Jersey state law.
