Adjunct Instructor of History

Sussex County Community College is currently seeking qualified and dedicated individuals to teach as an Adjunct of History for US History I at our Newton campus for the Spring 2027 semester. All instructors are responsible for teaching their assigned courses using a departmentally established course outline based on the master syllabus and assessing the course learning outcomes on the syllabus.

Qualified candidates must have a master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution. Prior teaching experience at the community college level is strongly preferred. The Learning Management System (LMS) that we use is Canvas. Prior knowledge of Canvas or a similar learning platform is preferred. Adjunct pay is based on $937 per credit hour.
