• Fayetteville, NC Position Type: Adjunct Faculty Description The History Department in the Division of Humanities at Methodist University is looking for an adjunct instructor to teach an in-person course in an engaging and rigorous manner. The instructor must be able to teach World History I or United States History I in Spring 2026 on campus either MWF or Tuesday-Thursday. A successful candidate will be considered for future courses.

Responsibilities

Teach one section of World History I (to 1500) or United States History I (to 1865) during the Fall 2026 semester. Provide quality in-person instruction, including the delivery of constructive feedback and evaluation on student work in a timely manner. Communicate with students to support them and address their questions or concerns.
