Job description

Overview

We're hiring Welders / Fabricators for our precision industrial equipment manufacturer. We build advanced custom equipment for the construction and utilities industries in a climate-controlled, high-mix, low-volume manufacturing facility. Our welders work on a wide variety of metal components and assemblies, handling everything from blueprint reading and layout to fit-up, tack welding, and final weld-out.

This is a great role for someone who enjoys hands-on fabrication and building things from start to finish. We're looking for welders with strong MIG and Flux-Core skills, good mechanical aptitude, and the ability to fit and assemble parts accurately from prints. You'll work with different parts and configurations, using your welding and fabrication skills to produce high-quality finished assemblies.

Why Join Us Variety of Work: Build a wide range of custom components instead of welding the same parts every day. Great Shop Environment: Clean, climate-controlled manufacturing facility with modern equipment. Real Growth Opportunities: Profit sharing, rapid raises, and opportunities to advance your fabrication skills.

Compensation

$30 - $35 / hr (total) $26 - $30 / hr (base) 15% shift differential $4,000 sign-on bonus Profit sharing + rapid raises Shift Weekend Shift: Friday – Sunday, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM Responsibilities Layout & Fit-Up: Lay out, align, fit, and tack metal components into assemblies using blueprints, measurements, and fixtures. MIG & Flux-Core Welding: Perform high-quality MIG (GMAW) and Flux-Core (FCAW) welding across a variety of parts and configurations, with occasional TIG welding.

Blueprint Reading: Read and interpret fabrication drawings, weld symbols, dimensions, and technical specifications. Full Fabrication: Complete assemblies from initial layout and fit-up through final welding, grinding, and finishing. Precision Measurement: Use tape measures, squares, calipers, and other measuring tools to maintain dimensional accuracy, including tolerances as tight as 1/32".

Quality & Inspection: Inspect fit-up, weld quality, and finished assemblies to ensure work meets specifications. Shop Work: Safely operate welding and fabrication equipment while maintaining quality and production standards.
