Job Title: HVAC Install Helper Work Location: Fort Collins, CO and surrounding area Work Arrangement: On-Site and field-based Employment Type: Full-time Schedule: Monday through Friday; daily hours vary based on active business demands. This is a variable full-time role up to 40 hours per week, with weekly hours fluctuating alongside seasonal business needs and project volume.

To meet shifting operational deadlines, occasional overtime, evening, or weekend work may be required. Compensation

$20 to $26/hr based on experience What You'll Do: Support Field Installations: Partner with experienced technicians to install residential HVAC systems, furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and water heaters (tank and tankless). Master the Craft: Actively learn to operate advanced diagnostic equipment, specialized tools, and modern HVAC system controls through hands-on field experience.

Assist with Retrofits: Help fabricate and install ductwork modifications, sheet metal components, and system upgrades on residential retrofit projects. Manage Assets & Inventory: Maintain an organized, fully stocked, and clean service vehicle while tracking and caring for company-issued tools and equipment. Prioritize Safety: Strictly adhere to all safety protocols, protective equipment guidelines, and continuous field-monitoring standards on every job site.

Engage & Grow: Participate fully in daily team meetings, professional coaching sessions, and interactive LMS training modules to accelerate your career. What You Bring: Experience: Some experience in HVAC preferred, but not required. Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn HVAC installation Licensing: Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record.

Skills: Deep understanding of installation/venting codes, basic sheet metal practices, and air balancing. Integrity: High integrity with a strong desire for continuous improvement. Compliance: Ability to pass a drug screen and background check. Physical Requirements and Work Environment: Must be able to stand, walk, and kneel for long periods throughout the day.

The job requires regularly lifting and carrying heavy items, which can weigh up to 50 pounds or more. Must be comfortable and able to safely climb and work from ladders, scaffolding, or bucket trucks at various heights. Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and balance in awkward positions. Work is performed both indoors and outdoors and is not limited by weather conditions.

May work in extreme temperatures, including heat, cold and humidity.

Compensation

Base Pay Range: $20 to $26 per hour Range Basis: Within this range, an individual's starting pay is determined by several factors, including but not limited to relevant skills, qualifications, professional experience, and internal equity across our organization. Other Compensation: Piece rate incentives. Eligible roles can also qualify for additional incentive spiffs for weekend work or extra installations completed during the week.
