Student Worker – Office of Global Engagement Peer Advisor

Campus Location: Main Campus (Galloway) Department: Office of Global Engagement Salary Range: $16.50 per hour Work Hours: Varies Brief Job Overview/Summary The Peer Advisor assists the Office of Global Engagement by providing guidance to students, answering questions about programs and services, helping with events and outreach, and supporting general office tasks.

Descriptions of Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Greet students, parents and campus community in person and by phone
• Deliver, pick-up, and distribute internal mail and packages for the department
• Learn computer programs to assist with data entering
• May assist with special projects, research and events Required Qualifications:
• Must be in a major or minor in their assigned School
• Must have a strong interest in study abroad, or have already studied abroad
• Must have an interest in other cultures and traditions
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Highly organized
• Works well in a team and independently
