The role AHA is looking for a responsible lab assistant to carry out sampling, testing, measuring, recording and analyzing in cooperation with the rest of the lab team. The successful candidate will have experience in a laboratory environment and accuracy to extract reliable and valid results. What your day looks like
• Prep and load samples in microbiology
• Call critical results
• Archive and retrieve samples
• Perform inventory
• Unpack stock and maintain department supplies as needed What you bring High School diploma or equivalent Prior laboratory, phlebotomy or medical office experience required Word processing and spreadsheet skills preferred Detail oriented Tues-Fri: 7am-5pm availability (shifts discussed during interview) What we offer Competitive pay• The stability of the nation’s largest long-term-care laboratory• Continuing education opportunities
