- Overnight Sleep About Us Hills & Dales is a non-profit organization dedicated to building meaningful lives for individuals with disabilities. We are seeking passionate Direct Support Professionals to support children and adults with intellectual and physical disabilities. Position Type Full-time positions currently available. The schedule provides an average of 203 days off a year with just a 3 day work week, or an average of 152 days off a year with a 4 day work week. Receive Premium Pay (1.5 times base wage) for any Weekend Hours.
Position Summary
As a Direct Support Professional III (DSP III) – HCBS – Sleep Night Staff, you will start your evening assisting clients with their evening routines. You will then sleep overnight at the facility, providing support as needed throughout the night. In the morning, you will help clients with their morning routines before leaving for the day.
Key Responsibilities
Assist clients with evening routines to ensure comfort and readiness for sleep. Provide overnight support, monitoring clients and responding to their needs as they arise. Support clients with morning routines before the end of your shift. Maintain a safe, supportive, and respectful environment for all clients. Document client activities, behaviors, and any incidents accurately and timely.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent. Valid driver’s license and ability to qualify as an approved driver. Use of personal vehicle required (mileage reimbursement available). Minimum insurance requirements: $25,000 bodily injury liability (as shown on Declarations page of your policy). Experience in HCBS Behavioral Health settings preferred; additional pay available for 1 or more years of relevant experience.
Additional pay for college-related education (AA or BS/BA) or certifications such as CMA/CNA. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently overnight while ensuring client safety and well-being.
