Job description
Personal Care Aide | Windward Side O'ahu | Kailua/Kaneohe
Aloha! Hawaiian Legacy Home Care is a locally owned agency helping Oʻahu families stay safe, comfortable and independent at home. We’re growing our caregiver team on the Windward side (Kaneohe & Kailua) and serve families across Oʻahu. If you live on the Windward side and bring patience and compassion to hands-on care, we’d love to hear from you.
Our caregivers are supported by a hands-on leadership team with RN oversight, so you always have guidance and backup when you need it.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Pay: $19–$25 per hour
- Additional pay for night and weekend shifts
- Paid training, including advanced care skills
- RN-supported environment with real clinical guidance
- Easy-to-use digital systems (no paperwork)
- Consistent client assignments whenever possible
- Growth opportunities into advanced and specialized care roles
What You’ll Do
- Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing and personal hygiene
- Support mobility, transfers and safe walking
- Assist with toileting and incontinence care

- Nurse Aide/Nursing Assistant training required; certification is a plus
- Knowledge of safe transfer techniques
- Compassion, patience and strong communication skills
- Physical ability to assist clients safely
- A smartphone for scheduling and documentation
- Reliable transportation for most assignments. If transportation is a concern, let us know when we talk. In limited situations, we may be able to help.
Finding Your Fit Every client’s needs are different, so hours vary from caregiver to caregiver. We match caregivers with clients as care needs come up in their area, and many of our team start with a few shifts and grow from there. Tell us when you’re available, and we’ll work with you to find a good match.
Requirements
- Must be 18 or older
