Maintenance Supervisor

Our esteemed client, a progressive, expanding manufacturer in Southern California, is seeking a new Maintenance Supervisor. Reports to: Operations Manager Department: Production Job Summary: Directs all maintenance-related activities in all Departments. The Maintenance Supervisor assigns duties and performs specific maintenance tasks, when available.

The Maintenance Supervisor supports the activities of a 24-hour, 5-6 day/week operation, always with productivity and quality in mind. This person may be called upon to repair critical equipment during 2nd or 3rd shifts or weekends, on occasion. The Maintenance Supervisor works with Molding, Assembly, Quality Assurance, Production Control, Engineering and Toolroom personnel, as well as the President.

Responsibilities

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the above activities. The Maintenance Supervisor has primary responsibility for the condition, upkeep and upgrade of the facility and all equipment within it. This person is responsible for establishing and performance of all preventative programs. Job Requirements: 5-10 years of injection molding or industrial maintenance experience Excellent mechanical, electrical and troubleshooting abilities Good interpersonal and training skills Good written and verbal communications Must assume responsibility for facility and equipment maintenance and uptime.
