Birth Certificate Registrar | Birth Center

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for obtaining the necessary information for completion and filing of birth certificates with the local and state departments of Vital Statistics. This information is obtained through reviewing the medical record, direct interview with parents, and contact with physicians. Birth certificate data is reported to the county and state health departments.

Supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate. Patients of all ages served. Supports and demonstrates Family Centered Care principles when interacting with patients and their families and with coworkers. Schedule Part-time casual | 8 hours every two weeks | Onsite Day shift | 8-hour shifts | 8am-4:30pm, flexible start & end times Primarily weekend shifts, occasional weekday shifts Pay Starting pay begins at $18.

06 per hour and increases with experience Pay range: $18.06 - $27.07 per hour Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent experience/knowledge required. One year experience with office procedures and equipment with computer experience preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred. Centra.
