Payment Processor – Medical Billing Cardiology Associates | Mobile, AL – Providence Location Our busy cardiology practice is seeking an experienced, full-time Payment Processor to join our team at our Providence location on Airport Boulevard in Mobile, Alabama . This position is ideal for a detail-oriented, self-motivated professional with medical office experience who enjoys working in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Accurately process and post a high volume of payments. Review and interpret Explanations of Benefits (EOBs) and Explanations of Payment (EOPs) from various insurance payers. Reconcile payments and identify discrepancies to ensure accurate posting. Apply basic accounting principles to daily payment processing. Communicate effectively with team members to resolve payment-related questions.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of payment processing experience in a physician’s office or accounting office. Medical office experience. Proficiency in interpreting EOBs/EOPs and reconciling payments. Understanding of basic accounting principles. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Ability to manage high-volume posting with accuracy and attention to detail.

Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
