Logistics Management Specialist

About the Position: This position is located at Fort Belvoir, VA in the Defense Health Network-East. Serves as the network logistics specialist who manages, analyzes, and improves medical logistics programs, systems, and projects to ensure effective supply, equipment, and readiness support across the Defense Health Network. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience analyzing logistics programs to identify operational issues and develop solutions that improve efficiency across multiple organizations; and developing automated logistics requirements to support system enhancements that strengthen supply, equipment, and inventory oversight; and managing logistics projects to control scope, timelines, and resources while meeting established network performance expectations; and coordinating logistics actions with senior officials to resolve problems and ensure consistent application of policies within the network.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service GS-11 or above.
