About the Role

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care in various healthcare settings. Your primary responsibility will be to assess patient needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and evaluate patient progress. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure that patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.

Additionally, you will educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care strategies. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to improving patient outcomes and enhancing the overall quality of care within the healthcare facility.

Minimum Qualifications

Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Associates degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree. Experience in a clinical setting, particularly in acute care or specialty areas. Advanced certifications in nursing specialties (e.g., ACLS, PALS).

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health status and medical histories. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Monitor and document patients' vital signs and responses to treatments. Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management and wellness.

Skills: The required skills for this position include strong clinical assessment abilities, which are essential for evaluating patient conditions and determining appropriate interventions. Effective communication skills are vital for collaborating with healthcare teams and educating patients and families. Time management and organizational skills will help you prioritize tasks and manage multiple patients efficiently.

Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are necessary for making informed decisions in high-pressure situations. Preferred skills, such as advanced certifications, will enhance your ability to provide specialized care and improve patient outcomes.
