Position Summary

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, sanitary, and comfortable environment for residents, visitors, and staff throughout the Ridgecrest Village community. This role plays a vital part in supporting residents' quality of life and enhancing their daily experience through exceptional housekeeping services.

Essential Responsibilities Clean resident apartments, common areas, offices, and public spaces according to established standards. Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, and sanitize assigned areas. Clean and disinfect bathrooms, kitchens, and high-touch surfaces. Empty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste properly.

Replenish housekeeping and cleaning supplies as needed. Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or repair needs promptly. Follow infection prevention and safety procedures. Assist with apartment turnover cleaning and special projects as assigned. Interact with residents, families, and coworkers in a friendly, respectful, and professional manner.

Support a positive, welcoming atmosphere throughout the community.

Qualifications

Required Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members. Preferred Previous housekeeping, environmental services, hotel, healthcare, or senior living experience.

Experience using commercial cleaning equipment and products. Physical Requirements Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting throughout the shift. Ability to push and pull housekeeping carts and equipment. Ability to lift and carry supplies and equipment weighing up to 30 pounds. Ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks and work in a physically active environment.
