Summary Delta Star Inc. is seeking a reliable and hands-on Warehouseman to support warehouse operations and ensure the smooth flow of materials between receiving, storage, and production. What You’ll Do As a Warehouseman, you will be at the heart of daily warehouse and material-handling operations. You’ll receive and store materials, prepare and complete documentation, and ensure materials are delivered safely and efficiently to the production team. You’ll work closely with internal teams while operating equipment and systems that support accurate inventory and smooth logistics operations.

A Day in the Life

Your day might start by receiving materials from production or inbound shipments, verifying quantities, and storing them according to established procedures. Throughout the day, you’ll prepare documentation, perform self-checks, deliver materials to the production floor, and ensure loading docks remain safe and compliant.

You may operate forklifts or trucks when required, enter data into the ERP system, and coordinate with team members to keep everything moving efficiently in a fast-paced and safety-focused environment. Specific Duties A Receive, identify, and store materials according to established procedures or special handling instructions.

Deliver materials to the production department in a timely and safe manner. Ensure all receiving, shipping, and internal material movements comply with company policies and safety standards. Complete required documentation such as shipping and receiving records, self-inspections, and accessory lists. Perform self-checks and verify material conformity and accuracy.

Maintain loading docks in a safe, compliant, and functional condition at all times and report any non-conformities. Communicate and distribute transport documents, delivery slips, and related paperwork to appropriate personnel. Operate diesel or electric forklifts when required (asset). Operate a truck with trailer in accordance with applicable regulations and company policies.

Enter and maintain accurate data in the ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics 365). Follow all workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations. Support other warehouse or logistics activities and perform related duties as assigned. What We’re Looking For A dependable and motivated individual who enjoys hands-on work and understands the importance of accuracy, organization, and safety.

You are proactive, comfortable working in a team environment, and take pride in contributing to efficient warehouse and production operations. Schedule: Monday to Thursday, from 3:15 PM to 1:45 AM Salary: $28.63 per hour , plus a $1.75 per hour evening shift premium . Position Requirements High school diploma required.

Basic to intermediate computer skills; experience with an ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics 365) is an asset. Valid forklift operator certification considered an asset. Valid Class 5 driver’s license required. 2 years of experience as a forklift operator preferred. Ability to pass required background checks, drug screening, and physical examination.

Skills & Competencies Resourcefulness, initiative, and a dynamic work approach. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Ability to work at heights when required. Knowledge of metric and imperial measurement systems. Ability to complete reports and operational documentation accurately. Punctuality, reliability, and strong teamwork skills.

Compensation

for this position will be determined within the posted salary range based on factors such as candidate qualifications, relevant experience, internal equity, market competitiveness, skills, and certifications. For union-represented roles, pay is established by the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
