Temporary Accountant – Lawrence, MA Location: Lawrence, MA (onsite, 5 days a week) Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm Duration: Temporary, starting ASAP through January 1 Pay: $25–$30 per hour About the Role A fast-moving, owner-operated company in Lawrence, MA is looking for a temporary Accountant to help the accounting team through a backlog during a leadership transition.

You’ll support the Director of Accounting and, once they’re onboarded, the new Accounting Manager. This is a hands-on role for someone who can get up to speed quickly and be productive right away. What You’ll Do Process accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) Prepare journal entries Complete bank reconciliations Handle payroll accruals Provide GAAP-based accounting support Build Excel reports, including pivot tables and graphs Help the Director of Accounting work through the backlog, then support the new Accounting Manager What You Bring Accounting experience at the AR/AP through Jr.
