Patient Care Technician

Overview

Responsibilities

Assists in the continuity of patient care delivery within an assigned area by providing direct personal care, rehabilitative measures, and supportive services.

Qualifications

Successful completion of one of the following: Nursing Assistant Program Medical Assistant Program Equivalent work history in a patient care environment Rotation with total patient care at Nursing School Licensure/Registration/Certification: BLS Desired Qualifications: Working knowledge of phlebotomy, EKG, pulse oximetry and blood glucose screening Licensure/Registration/Certification: Certified Nursing Assistant Assists in the continuity of patient care delivery within an assigned area by providing direct personal care, rehabilitative measures, and supportive services.
