Personal Support Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team in Belleville, MI. In this role, you will provide essential care and support to clients, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance.
• Provide medication reminders and basic health monitoring as directed by healthcare professionals.
• Support clients with meal preparation and feeding when necessary.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients to enhance their overall well-being.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive client care.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Personal Support Worker or in a similar caregiving role is an asset but not required.
• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and team members.
• Physical ability to assist clients with mobility and other physical tasks.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing high-quality care.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required.
