Automotive Maintenance Tech - Watertown, NY

Davidson Ford has immediate openings for an experienced Automotive Maintenance Technician/Mechanic with a NYS Inspector’s License to join our busy Service Department! Pay Range

$22 - $26, Hourly or Flat Rate, depending on experience Hours: 7:30am - 5:30pm, Monday

• Friday Responsibilities: Perform standard vehicle maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards. Continuously learns new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay up to date with rapidly changing automotive technology. Keeps advisor aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Required Skills

Valid New York State Inspectors License. General maintenance. Brake repair. Tires (Mount and balance, repair, road force balance). Alignments. Suspension diagnosis and repair. Exhaust repair. Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid Driver's License.

Preferred Skills

Manufacturer Training Welding training/experience. ASE certifications.
