Service Controller NRC Crane Hire (Part of the JGL Group) Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:30pm Immediate Start Available About NRC Crane Hire NRC Crane Hire, part of the JGL Group, is a growing and professional crane hire business providing lifting solutions across a range of construction and infrastructure projects. We are looking for a motivated and organised individual to join our team as a Service Controller .

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a long-term career within the crane and plant hire industry. Full training will be provided for the right candidate. The Role As a Service Controller, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operation of our fleet, helping to ensure equipment servicing, maintenance and documentation are managed efficiently.

You will work closely with our operational teams, engineers, suppliers and customers to coordinate activities and keep everything running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Scheduling and coordinating servicing and maintenance activities. Updating and maintaining service records and documentation. Liaising with engineers, suppliers and operational teams. Monitoring equipment servicing schedules and compliance requirements. Raising purchase orders and processing service-related paperwork.

Ensuring tasks are completed accurately and within required timescales. Supporting the wider operations team with administrative duties as required.

About You

Lives within a reasonable commuting distance of our office – Orsett RM16 Thrives in a fast-paced working environment. Has excellent attention to detail. Demonstrates a strong sense of urgency and ownership when completing tasks. Is organised and able to manage multiple priorities. Has good communication and interpersonal skills.

Is proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Has a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
