Requirements

New Jersey School Counselor Certificate Experience working with children , preferred Bilingual (a plus) Effective: 2026-2027 School Year Salary: As per salary guide based on experience and earned degree level Minimum $78,439 - maximum $109,099 Work year: Guidance Counselors shall work the teacher calendar and be employed for 10 days in the summer prior to the start of the school year for 10-month instructional employees.

Salary is inclusive of 10 workdays between July 1, 2026 and the first workday August 31, 2026 of the 2026-2027 school year.
