Executive – Financial Crime Systems

About the Role

ACE Money Transfer is looking for an Executive – Financial Crime Systems to deliver, test and improve our financial crime technology platforms. The role focuses on system validation, data analysis and change delivery across our transaction monitoring, screening and case management systems. You will work closely with Product, Development, Operations and vendor teams so that every system change is properly tested, validated and released with confidence.

You will work with both rules-based and AI/ML-driven detection models . You will check that rules, thresholds, workflows and model changes perform as intended and that system data stays accurate. The role reports to [Insert, e.g., Manager – Financial Crime Systems / Head of Fin. Crime Technology] . It suits someone with hands-on experience in enterprise systems, UAT and data-driven platforms who wants to deepen their expertise in financial crime technology.

Responsibilities

Financial Crime Systems Management Manage and support financial crime systems, including transaction monitoring, screening and case management platforms. Check that business and functional requirements match how the system actually behaves and what it produces. Testing & Release Validation Run UAT, regression testing and pre-production validation for system changes and releases.

Test rules, thresholds, workflows and alerting logic, and confirm they work as intended. Manage defects with Product, Development and vendor teams, tracking them through to resolution within delivery timelines. Data Validation & Analysis Validate and reconcile data to make sure system inputs and outputs are accurate. Analyse system data to find issues, gaps and opportunities to improve.

AI/ML & Model Validation Test and validate AI/ML and analytical models, including scenario and threshold changes. Assess model inputs, outputs and their effect on performance and alert quality. Documentation & Collaboration Maintain complete testing, release and system documentation. Work closely with Product, Development, Operations and vendor teams to keep delivery on track.

Requirements

Qualifications

& Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Finance or a related field. 3–5 years of experience in financial services technology, enterprise systems, or delivery and testing roles. Hands-on experience with UAT, system testing and pre-production validation. Ability to use Python, SQL, Excel or similar tools for data validation and analysis.

Exposure to AI/ML or analytical models, including how their inputs, outputs and performance interact. Familiarity with software feature testing practices. Experience with JIRA, Confluence or similar tools. Strong plus: working knowledge of AML, transaction monitoring or screening systems from a technology and data perspective.
