Join the team at the Daniel K. Inouye Solar Telescope as a Mechanical Technician II and help operate the world’s most advanced solar observatory atop Haleakalā! You’ll maintain, repair, and improve precision optical, mechanical, and thermal systems while contributing to cutting-edge scientific discovery. This hands-on role involves troubleshooting, fabrication, equipment installation, and supporting observatory operations at 10,000 ft elevation.
