Mechanical Technician II

Job Title: Mechanical Technician II Compensation: $39.94/hr – $45.93/hr Location: Carlsbad, NM Schedule: Monday–Friday (5/2), 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM; 8 hrs/day, 40 hrs/week, 30-minute lunch break Scope Manage fleet operations, including overseeing the Trans. Dev shop. Primary Job Functions Oversee 60 pool vehicles and their maintenance Assist with overseeing approximately 700 field vehicles, including maintenance and repair health Maintain and update records for field and office vehicles: past-due PMs, telematics, windshield repairs, fuel cards, safety inspections, and other items as needed Maintain and oversee oil changes, maintenance, and washes for pool vehicles and other assigned or departmental vehicles as needed Coordinate and schedule vehicle repairs for field offices Oversee Traka system faults and repairs Perform walk-arounds of pool vehicles to ensure safe operating order Maintain and coordinate telematics device replacement Assist with Holman ARI fuel PIN numbers for field and office Coordinate vehicle movement Receive and inspect vehicles for remarketing and incoming new vehicles Other vehicle porter duties as required Additional Notes Computer literate, with knowledge of Microsoft Office General vehicle knowledge Ability to multitask 3–5 years of experience (preferred, not required)
