• RICHMOND, VA, Position Type: Seasonal, Salary Range: $3.50 - $5.00Hourly, Job Shift: Any, The Jefferson Hotel is seeking a courteous, guest-focused individual to join the TJ’s Restaurant team as a Seasonal Service Attendant. This seasonal evening position plays a vital role in supporting servers, maintaining a clean and organized dining area, and ensuring exceptional guest service. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about hospitality in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Available Shift: 3:00 PM – 10:00 PM Schedule & Availability MUST be available to work from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM, including weekends and holidays. This is a seasonal position. Key Requirements Availability: MUST be available to work the designated evening shift, including weekends and holidays. Experience: Prior experience in a full-service restaurant is preferred but not required. Customer Service: Demonstrates a guest-first mindset and a genuine desire to provide attentive, courteous service. Attention to Detail: Takes pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and polished dining environment. Teamwork: Communicates effectively, follows direction, and takes initiative to support the team. Professionalism: Dependable, punctual, and professional in appearance and demeanor.

Key Responsibilities

Clear, reset, and sanitize tables efficiently between guests. Guest Assistance: Refill water glasses and assist with delivering food, beverages, and other service items. Cleanliness & Organization: Keep the dining room, side stations, and service areas clean, organized, and ready for service. Team Communication: Coordinate with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate service.

Food Safety: Follow all health, safety, and food-handling procedures. Side Work & Closing Duties: Complete assigned side work and closing responsibilities to support restaurant operations. Guest Service: Respond to guest requests courteously and help create a warm, welcoming dining experience.
