Supervisor Coding

Join Our Team as a Supervisor Coding Are you passionate about healthcare, coding excellence, and helping others succeed? We’re looking for a compassionate, caring, and dedicated Supervisor Coding to join our team and help us continue our tradition of excellence. In this role, you’ll provide day-to-day leadership and support to our medical coding team, helping ensure quality, productivity, accuracy, and compliance.

What You'll Do

Provide first-line supervision, guidance, and support to medical coding staff. Monitor coding quality, productivity, and performance to ensure department standards are met. Perform coding quality verification and help identify opportunities for improvement. Ensure coding practices comply with applicable State and Federal regulations, as well as organizational policies and procedures.

Identify opportunities to optimize reimbursement while maintaining coding accuracy and compliance. Provide training and ongoing education to new and existing coding staff. Assist with problem-solving and resolution of coding-related questions and concerns. Assist with reporting from coding and abstracting applications.

Support a positive, collaborative team environment focused on quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement.

Education

& Experience: Completion of High School or GED is required. A coding credential is required, such as Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or Certified Professional Coder (CPC). Other AAPC or AHIMA credentials may be considered. Five years of previous medical coding experience is required. Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. Previous leadership, supervisory, or training experience is preferred.
