Qualifications

Desired Experience: BE/BTech – Mechanical Engineering 10 to 12 years of experience in sourcing and supply chain of an engineering/automobile industry/MNC Key Skills Required: Should have experience in strategic sourcing and supply chain management from manufacturing/auto component industry. Preference will be given to those who have handled Forging components Hands on experience in identifying, evaluating, and developing vendors for machined components are a must.

Knowledge on Costing and Negotiation is must. Knowledge on SAP is must Excellent communication skills and high energy levels. Develop and manage a good supplier base, Experience in developing Forged machining components . Analytical ability to quickly reach the root-cause of a problem Initiate and Drive Value Engineering & Cost Reduction projects.

Proactive and self-starting; seizes opportunities and acts upon them with enthusiasm and commitment. Must have Knowledge in Forging capacity Mapping & drive towards action plan Should have experience in Lead time reduction in Forging & Machining Parts Self-driven in all the Area Experienced in Planning, implementation of key procurement strategies, contingency plans, organizing and controlling all requisite activities to perform procurement.
