Senior Systems Administrator

Keep the Windows and Linux systems under a 2,000-plus VM DoD test environment patched, hardened and running. You'll support a new Defense Health Agency program. This position is contingent upon contract award, and the start date will align with the program start.

What you'll do

Administer Windows Server and Linux systems across two enclaves Run patching and STIG compliance and close scan findings Lead system-level troubleshooting for test events Mentor systems administrators and write runbooks Must have: 8 or more years in systems administration Windows Server and Linux administration, including Active Directory Experience applying DISA STIGs and closing vulnerability findings U.

S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and keep the background investigation DHA designates for this position DoD 8140 qualification for your work role before privileged access, or the ability to earn it within six months Nice to have: v. Sphere experience Ansible or Power. Shell automation An active Secret clearance or higher Location: Chantilly, Virginia, on site at the test center, with work at the Ashburn, Virginia data center as needed.

Pay range
