Buyer II: Responsible for the execution of the complete purchase order lifecycle, ensuring that all products, materials, and services are acquired in full compliance with government, customer, and Frontier rules and requirements. Position Responsibilities: Procurement and Order Management: Under limited guidance, perform advanced procurement execution to include researching products, preparing purchase orders and placing orders, and selecting suppliers based on pricing, cost-savings, buying quantities, and/or lead time.

Supplier and Subcontract Management: Track the status of requisitions, contracts, and orders. Foster positive, collaborative relationships with all suppliers and internal partners. Cross-Functional Coordination: Reconcile monthly statements, coordinate cross-functional procurement activity, and provide status to Departments (ex.

, Quality, Receiving, and Shipping) and Program Management. Required Qualifications: Associate’s degree in a business-related or technical discipline or equivalent experience. 3-7 years of intermediate experience in Aerospace and Electronics Purchasing. Ability to process purchase orders of moderate complexity. Basic technical understanding of components and products being purchased.

Proficient use of Microsoft Office and ability to gain proficiency in Costpoint® and other relevant FES software systems. Due to the nature of our work, must be a U.S. person. (A United States citizen or have permanent resident status in the U.S. No sponsorship.) Work Environment: Normal office environment. Expected hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.

Essential Physical Functions: Sitting for long periods of time. Occasional lifting (up to 10 pounds). Ability to see details at close range.
