Duck Creek Insights Lead Developer Summary We are seeking an accomplished technical leader with over six years of experience to drive the development and optimization of our data solutions within the IT Services sector. In this pivotal role, you will leverage deep expertise in the insurance and Property & Casualty (P&C) domain to architect and implement robust data strategies using the Duck Creek Insights platform.
Your primary focus will be on designing scalable data ingestion pipelines, modeling complex data structures, and ensuring seamless integration with cloud environments. This position is critical for transforming raw data into actionable intelligence, directly supporting business decisions and operational efficiency while commanding a competitive compensation package ranging from ₹25 to ₹30 Lakhs per annum.
Responsibilities
Architect and develop high-performance data models and warehousing solutions tailored to the specific needs of the insurance industry. Lead the design and implementation of efficient data ingestion processes, utilizing ETL/ELT frameworks to ensure data integrity and availability. Manage and optimize cloud-based data operations on Azure and AWS, ensuring scalability and security across distributed systems.
Orchestrate data transformation workflows using Azure Data Factory and Databricks to support advanced analytics and reporting requirements. Drive the adoption of CI/CD and DevOps best practices to streamline the deployment of Duck Creek Insights applications and data pipelines. Collaborate within Agile/Scrum teams to define technical roadmaps, estimate project timelines, and deliver high-quality software solutions.
Serve as a subject matter expert for Duck Creek Insights, providing guidance on platform capabilities and best practices for data utilization. Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to maintain system reliability and performance standards.
Requirements
Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in software development, data engineering, or a related technical field. Proven proficiency in cloud platforms, specifically Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS). Strong background in data warehousing concepts, data modeling techniques, and schema design. Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and building robust ETL/ELT frameworks.
Deep understanding of CI/CD methodologies and DevOps tools for automating deployment processes. Demonstrated expertise in the Insurance sector, with specific knowledge of Property & Casualty (P&C) operations and data requirements. Solid working knowledge of the Duck Creek Insights platform and its application in data analytics.
Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies in a fast-paced development environment. Ability to design and execute complex data ingestion strategies for large-scale datasets.
