الغرض من الوظيفة / Job Purpose : يساهم مدرس اللغة العربية (محاضر / أستاذ مساعد/مشارك) في تحقيق رسالة كلية الآداب والعلوم الإنسانية والاجتماعية من خلال التميز في التدريس والبحث وخدمة المجتمع. وتشمل مسؤولياته تقديم تعليم نوعي يتمحور حول الطالب في اللغة العربية في مرحلتي السنة التأسيسية والبكالوريوس، وإجراء بحوث مؤثرة تتماشى مع المعايير الدولية، والمساهمة في تحقيق الأهداف الاستراتيجية للكلية من خلال القيادة الأكاديمية، وتطوير البرامج، والمشاركة في خدمة المجتمع.

The Arabic Language Lecturer/Assistant/Associate Professor will contribute to the College of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences mission through excellence in teaching, research, and service. The role involves delivering high-quality, student-centered Arabic language education at foundation and undergraduate levels, conducting impactful research aligned with international standards, and contributing to the strategic goals of the College through academic leadership, program development, and community engagement.

المسؤوليات الأساسية / Key Accountabilities التدريس والتعلّم تقديم تدريس متميّز ومبتكر في اللغة العربية، والكتابة الأكاديمية، ومهارات التواصل في مرحلتي السنة التأسيسية والبكالوريوس. المساهمة في تطوير المناهج الدراسية ومراجعتها وتحسينها بما يتوافق مع المعايير المهنية لتدريس اللغة العربية ومتطلبات هيئة الاعتماد الأكاديمي CAA.

الإشراف على مشروعات تطوير اللغة لدى الطلبة ومبادرات الكتابة الأكاديمية. استخدام أساليب تدريس شاملة، مدعومة بالتقنيات الحديثة، ومتمركزة حول الطالب، بما في ذلك التعلم المدمج والتعلم الرقمي.النشاط البحثي والعلمي . النشاط البحثي والعلمي إجراء بحوث علمية أصلية عالية الجودة ذات أثر قابل للقياس . النشر المنتظم في مجلات علمية محكمة ورفيعة المستوى مصنّفة ضمن Scopus و Clarivate Web of Science.

السعي للحصول على تمويل بحثي خارجي وتعزيز الشراكات مع مؤسسات أكاديمية وصناعية وحكومية . القيادة الأكاديمية والخدمة المجتمعية المساهمة الفعالة في اللجان والأعمال الأكاديمية على مستوى القسم والكلية والجامعة، وفي المبادرات الاستراتيجية. دعم عمليات الاعتماد الأكاديمي وضمان الجودة، مثل TESOL و IELTS و CAA. المشاركة في أنشطة التفاعل المجتمعي ونقل المعرفة.

الإشراف الأكاديمي على الزملاء الجدد وتعزيز بيئة عمل تعاونية وثقافة أكاديمية قائمة على الشراكة والتميز. الإدارة والتقارير إعداد التقارير المتعلقة بالتدريس والبحث والاعتماد الأكاديمي في الوقت المحدد وبشكل دقيق . المساهمة في التخطيط الاستراتيجي والتشغيلي للكلية . تنفيذ أي مهام أخرى يكلفه بها العميد أو المدير المباشر. Teaching & Learning Deliver high-quality and innovative instruction in Arabic Language, Academic Writing, and Communication Skills at foundation and undergraduate levels.

Contribute to curriculum development, review, and enhancement in line with Arabic language teaching professional standards and CAA requirements Supervise student language development projects and academic writing initiatives. Employ inclusive, technology-enhanced, and student-centered pedagogical approaches including blended and digital learning methodologies Research & Scholarly Activity Conduct high-quality and original research in Applied Linguistics, Arabic Language Teaching (ALT), Second Language Acquisition, or related fields Publish regularly in peer-reviewed, high-ranking journals (e.

g., Scopus, Clarivate Web of Science) Pursue external research funding and foster partnerships with academic, industry, and government stakeholders Academic Leadership & Service Actively contribute to departmental, college, and university committees and strategic initiatives Support accreditation and quality assurance processes (e.

g., TESOL, IELTS, CAA) Participate in outreach, community engagement, and knowledge transfer activities Mentor junior colleagues and support a collaborative academic culture. Administration & Reporting Prepare teaching, research, and accreditation-related reports in a timely and accurate manner Contribute to strategic and operational planning within the College Undertake other duties assigned by the Dean or line manager .

Accreditation & Quality: Support accreditation and quality assurance processes by preparing evidence, contributing to assurance of learning, and promoting continuous improvement in language program delivery.

Innovation: Advance teaching and research excellence through innovative practices, digital integration, corpus-based approaches, and evidence-based language instruction . Research & Collaboration: Enhance the College's research profile through interdisciplinary projects, funded research, and industry partnerships in Arabic language education and applied linguistics.

Academic Leadership: Mentor junior faculty and language instructors, share expertise, and foster a culture of collaboration and scholarly excellence. Community Engagement: Build partnerships with business, government, and community organizations to strengthen societal impact and promote Arabic language proficiency initiatives.

g., HR, Finance, etc.) Government Organizations UAE Universities المؤهلات والخبرة المطلوبة / Required Qualification & Experience دكتوراه أو ماجستير في تدريس اللغة العربية، أو اللغويات التطبيقية، ، أو اللغويات، أو أي تخصص ذي صلة من جامعة معترف بها دوليًا ومعتمدة. خبرة لا تقل عن 5 سنوات في التدريس والبحث في مؤسسات التعليم العالي.

سجل بحثي قوي ومنتظم في مجلات علمية محكمة. خبرة مثبتة في تصميم المناهج، وتطوير البرامج، والمشاركة في عمليات الاعتماد الأكاديمي مثل CAA. خبرة في الإشراف الأكاديمي على الطلبة وتوجيههم. تُعد القدرة على الحصول على تمويل بحثي خارجي أو المشاركة في مشروعات استشارية ميزة إضافية. التزام بالتميز في التدريس والبحث وخدمة المجتمع. تُعد إجادة اللغتين العربية والإنجليزية، إلى جانب الإلمام بالثقافة والسياق المحليين، ميزة إضافية .

PhD or MA in Arabic Language Teaching, Applied Linguistics, Linguistics, or a closely related discipline from an internationally recognized and accredited university. Minimum of 5 years of relevant higher education experience in teaching and research. A strong and consistent record of peer-reviewed publications. Demonstrated experience in curriculum design, program development, and contribution to accreditation processes (e.

g., PRCA, CAA ). Evidence of successful student supervision and mentorship. Proven ability to secure external research funding or engage in consultancy projects is desirable. Commitment to excellence in teaching, research, and service. Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English, along with familiarity with the local culture and context, would be an advantage.
