We are seeking an energetic, hospitality-driven Lead Bartender to help create unforgettable guest experiences while leading bar operations with professionalism, creativity, and enthusiasm.

Position Summary

The Lead Bartender is responsible for overseeing daily bar operations while providing outstanding beverage service to Burnt Pine members and guests. This role supports the Food & Beverage leadership team by ensuring quality standards, maintaining inventory controls, assisting with staff training, and creating a welcoming and elevated atmosphere throughout the club.

The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, knowledgeable in cocktails and wine service, and capable of leading by example in a high-volume beachfront environment.

Essential Duties

& Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to resort standards Deliver exceptional guest service with a warm, professional, and engaging attitude Lead daily bar operations and assist with opening and closing procedures Train, mentor, and support bartending and bar support staff Ensure compliance with all ABC laws, health regulations, and resort policies Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of all bar areas Monitor product quality, presentation, and consistency Assist with inventory management, ordering, and stocking of bar supplies Handle cash, credit card transactions, and point-of-sale systems accurately Develop creative seasonal cocktails and beverage promotions Communicate effectively with kitchen, management, and service teams to ensure seamless operations Resolve guest concerns professionally and promptly Maintain a positive and team-oriented work environment Support special events, member functions, and private club activities as needed Qualifications Minimum 2 years of bartending experience required Previous lead bartender or supervisory experience preferred Resort, private club, or upscale restaurant experience strongly preferred Extensive knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and mixology Strong leadership and team-building skills Excellent communication and guest service abilities Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment Must be dependable, professional, and detail-oriented Flexible schedule required, including weekends, evenings, and holidays Must meet minimum age requirements to serve alcohol in Florida Food Handler and responsible alcohol service certifications preferred Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds regularly Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive motions Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat and humidity Ability to safely handle glassware, bar equipment, and cleaning chemicals Must possess manual dexterity to prepare beverages efficiently and accurately EOE M/D/F/V
