Position Overview

Join the team at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort as an Executive Steward , where you'll oversee the heartbeat of our culinary operations. From leading the stewarding team to ensuring sparkling clean environments and maintaining smooth operations, you'll play a key role in creating unforgettable guest experiences. This leadership position combines strategic management, hands-on involvement, and the satisfaction of seeing every plate and banquet shine.

Key Responsibilities

Direct and oversee the stewarding team to maintain the highest cleanliness and sanitation standards in kitchens and food preparation areas. Develop and implement cleaning schedules, inventory management processes, and operational policies. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations. Work closely with the culinary and banquet teams to support seamless operations for events and daily service.

Train, mentor, and inspire the stewarding staff to excel in their roles. Manage equipment and supply inventory, coordinating repairs or replacements when necessary. Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand, walk, and move quickly for extended periods. Ability to bend, kneel, and lift items weighing up to 50 pounds. Comfortable working in hot, humid, or wet environments, including dish areas and kitchens. Capable of handling repetitive motions, such as scrubbing or dishwashing.
