Electronics Technician

You will serve as a ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN in the Command, Control, Communications and Computer (C4) Systems Department (N6), Fleet Communications Division (N64), PM1 Support Unit (N6411) of MILITARY SEALIFT COMMAND.

GS-12 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience devising methods and procedures for electronic system troubleshooting, maintenance and repair.

Experience researching and developing technical specifications for electronic systems or component upgrades to meet new regulatory rules and regulations. Experience using life cycle support functions for corrective or preventative maintenance of electronic communication systems. Experience executing installation, maintenance, and sustainment activities for new and existing command and control, communications, and navigation systems in support of agency missions.

Experience inspecting and evaluating shipboard communication systems to access reliability, operation, and readiness and safety.
