Available after 60 days Position Overview Cable Dahmer Automotive Group is looking for a dependable IT Intern / Assistant to support the daily technology needs of our growing automotive group. This entry-level position will assist with employee account setup, reporting, and basic IT support. The ideal candidate enjoys technology, pays attention to details, and is eager to learn while helping our team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Create employee usernames, user accounts, and temporary passwords using approved requests and company procedures.
• Assist with password resets, login issues, and approved account changes for new, current, and departing employees.
• Prepare and update reports, organize data, and check information for accuracy.
• Provide basic support for computers, email, software, and other office technology.
• Help set up computers and equipment for new employees and assist with routine software updates as directed.
• Track support requests, document completed work, and refer complex issues to the appropriate IT team member.
• Maintain accurate equipment records and IT documentation while protecting confidential employee, customer, and company information.
• Assist with IT projects and other technology needs that arise from time to time.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and familiarity with email, spreadsheets, and common office applications.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
• Clear communication, patience, and a helpful attitude when assisting employees.
• Ability to follow instructions, manage assigned tasks, and handle confidential information responsibly.
• Dependability and availability to work in the office Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
• Interest in IT and a willingness to learn.
