Purchase Executive

Job title -Executive Department -Purchase. Location: Taloja(Navi Mumbai) Experience 3 To 4yrs Reporting To Works Manager Industry Engineering Industry Team Will be working with in-place Purchase and Store team. Goals :

1. Handling procurement independently.
2. Timely and cost effective procurement of engineering components / services including spares, coordination/ follow up with vendors, liaison with other relevant functions in the organization.
3. Vendor assessment and development Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
4. Source and evaluate suppliers/vendors for quality and pricing.
5. Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships.
6. Ensure timely delivery of materials and maintain inventory levels.
7. Looking after procurement of Capital Goods, Machinery, Spare parts etc. for the Engineering Plant.
8. Analyses market trends and implement cost-saving strategies.
9. Coordinate with internal teams for procurement needs.
10. Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
11. New component developments including from pattern development to its initial sample approval.
12. Support manufacturing and maintenance teams for negotiating items and consumables.
13. Liaising with other functions in the Organization such as Accounts, Stores and the user department
14. Review the quality of purchased products.
15. Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices.
16. Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses.
17. Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed.
18. Coordinate with store staff to ensure proper storage of materials. Knowledge, skills, and abilities
19. Microsoft Office Application
20. Strong negotiation and communication skills
21. Knowledge of procurement software/tools.
22. Incumbent needs to know

• Detailed understanding of procurement process
• Import process and procedures

1. Working on ERP

• GST rules and other taxation Education and experience BE / Diploma
