Server – Hillcrest Firethorn Location: Lincoln, NE Service Line: Culinary Services Schedule: Full-Time or Part-Time | Afternoon/Evening Shifts | Weekend Availability Required Inspiring People to Live Their Best Lives Hillcrest Health & Living is looking for a friendly, dependable, and service-focused Server to join our culinary team at Hillcrest Firethorn in Lincoln, Nebraska.

As a Server, you will help create a positive dining experience by taking meal orders, serving food and beverages, supporting residents’ dietary needs, and keeping dining areas clean, organized, and ready for service. Hours & Scheduling We are hiring full-time and part-time Servers for afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts. Available scheduling options include: Afternoon/Evening Shift: 2:30/3:30PM–8:00 PM. Part-Time Opportunities: Afternoon/evening shifts, including 3:00 PM–8:00 PM. Part-Time Shift: 6:00 AM–2:00 PM, depending on scheduling needs.

Weekend Availability: Must be available to work at least one weekend day. Candidates available to work both Saturday and Sunday are welcome! Our evening shifts typically end at 8:00 PM. Specific schedules and weekly hours will depend on the position and the needs of the culinary team. What We’re Looking For We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people and understands that great dining service is about more than bringing someone a meal. The right candidate will be friendly, dependable, attentive to detail, and comfortable working in a busy environment while making residents, patients, and guests feel welcomed and valued.

Education

& Experience High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience waiting tables or providing dining-room service preferred. Why Hillcrest Firethorn? Must be able to perform repetitive standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, and movement throughout the shift. Must be flexible and calm when supporting residents, patients, guests, and families. Must have strong attention to detail and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced dining environment. Must be able to utilize technology and available resources efficiently and effectively.

Must follow established sanitation, infection-control, chemical-handling, and food-safety procedures. Possible exposure to communicable diseases and bodily fluids.
