Job description

Position: Therapist I-II School Based Salary: $48,000.00 - $58,000.00 annually (Starting salary depends on education, licensure, and years of experience) Job Type: Full Time during the 9-month school year Cornerstones of Care may provide supervision hours as required for licensure at no cost to the employee. We also offer annual CEU requirements through the company free of charge and an excellent benefits package.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Therapist I – School-Based Services reports to the Clinical Manager of School-Based services and will support students, families, and district personnel in the Grandview School District to address personal, emotional, and social problems that interfere with kindergarten readiness. Additionally, the Therapist I – School-Based Services will provide individual, family, group therapy, and/or wrap-around case management support in addition to crisis management as needed to students in preschool and as they start kindergarten.

This position will consult with, and provide professional development to school staff to increase knowledge of trauma-informed interventions in the school setting. This position is a full-time twelve (12) month position per year. Therapist I will provide a continuum of care services to families during the summer months while school is not in session and could include in-school, in-home, in-office, and virtual depending on the needs of the families.

QUALIFICATIONS

This position requires a Master’s degree. The Therapist I position requires professional licensure (e.g. LMSW, PLPC). One (1) to three (3) years of experience is required. The Therapist II position requires professional licensure (e.g. LCSW, LSCSW, LPC, and LCPC). Therapist II applicants must have three (3) to five (5) years of post-clinical licensure experience.

Must pass a background check, and physical and drug screening. This position also requires a valid driver’s license and proof of current vehicle insurance.
