Service Advisor (Experienced) – Discount Inspection & Brakes | Friendswood, TX Discount Inspection & Brakes, part of D.I.B. Automotive Group, is hiring a seasoned Service Advisor for our Friendswood shop at 4546 FM 2351. We need a proven automotive pro. This is not an entry-level role. The right person knows cars, sells with integrity, and can run the front counter and shop flow with confidence.

Pay: $62,000–$120,000 per year, based on experience and performance Sign-on bonus: Up to $10,000 Plus: Benefits, paid training and development, and room to grow across D.I.B. Automotive Group Your Day-to-Day Welcome customers and pinpoint what their vehicle needs Walk customers through inspection results and recommended repairs Present pricing, timelines, and service options clearly and honestly Earn customer trust and close on needed repairs and maintenance Work hand-in-hand with technicians to keep jobs moving Oversee daily workflow, tech productivity, and vehicle status Document customer communication, approvals, completed work, and recommendations Update customers on progress and follow up after service Resolve customer questions, concerns, and escalations with professionalism Keep the service area clean, organized, and customer-ready Mentor and support team members as needed Keep up with current repair procedures, vehicle technology, and industry best practices What You Bring 5+ years in service advising, service management, or automotive repair Solid hands-on mechanical knowledge Leadership or management experience in an automotive shop Proven sales ability and a customer-first mindset Ability to translate technical issues into plain language Skill at prioritizing vehicles and keeping the shop running smoothly Experience with diagnostic processes and shop management software Working knowledge of tires, state inspections, preventive maintenance, and general repair Reliable, organized, and professional Ability to stay sharp and multitask in a high-volume shop Why D.
