POSITION TITLE: Lead Retail Associate DEPARTMENT: Retail Operations REPORTS TO: Store Manager POSITION SUMMARY BYLT Premium Basics is looking for a Lead Retail Stylist who knows that great style goes beyond the clothes, it’s about creating a look that moves with you. We don’t just sell products, we build outfits, elevate confidence, and create experiences.

As a Lead Retail Stylist, you will lead by example, connect with customers, uncover their needs, and curate head-to-toe looks that fit their lifestyle and every occasion. You will help elevate the customer experience while mentoring and inspiring fellow stylists, partnering with the Store Manager to drive sales performance, and fostering a culture rooted in product knowledge, relationship building, and personal style.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead by example on the sales floor, coaching and supporting Retail Stylist Deliver an elevated selling experience by understanding the customer needs and create outfits based on those needs to drive sales Execute opening and closing procedures, ensuring the store is prepared for daily operations Maintain accountability for cash handling procedures, including register reconciliation, deposit preparation, and ordering change in accordance with policy Mentor Retail Stylist on customer engagement, product knowledge, styling techniques, relationship building, and effective selling strategies Assist with the execution of merchandising the store in alignment with BYLT standards Support inventory management by partnering with the Store Manager to ensure proper receiving, processing, replenishment and stocking of merchandise Support the elevated store environment by maintaining a clean, organized and visually exciting sales floor.

This includes, but is not limited to, folding, hanging, replenishing, and merchandising product Maintain awareness of store activity, follow operational and loss prevention procedures and communicate potential security concerns to management Partner with the Store Manager to delegate responsibilities and prioritize daily tasks to balance operational needs and customer engagement Identify opportunities to improve the customer experience, streamline operations and elevate the selling experience Other duties as assigned REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS: Previous retail or sales experience.

Supervisor experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with customers and team members to contribute to meeting sales goals Proven ability to deliver a premium customer experience Strong problem solving and information gathering skills Ability to quickly learn and execute company procedures, operational standards and selling practices Demonstrated ability to motivate, coach, and inspire team members to deliver an elevated customer experience Able to handle customer interactions and potential issues/concerns courteously and professionally Dedicated to becoming a BYLT product expert Ability to work a varied schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs Must be 18+ or have a High School Diploma/GED Dependable, accountable and adaptable with a strong work ethic and the ability to balance leadership responsibilities, customer engagement and daily store operations PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
