Quality Engineer

The Quality Engineer works with and develops relationships with customers and the manufacturing facility to understand and ensure product quality meets customer requirements. By employing the AIAG Core Tools, the Quality Engineer plans and administers the Quality Process under the direction of the Quality Manager. Typically, responsible for one or more customers, the Quality Engineer will learn the customer processes, including part launch, PPAP, ongoing reporting and problem resolution.

The Quality Engineer may fill in for the Quality Manager’s absences and will need to understand the government standards and requirements for product compliance
