Registered Nurse - Bhuc - 7P-7A Sign on Bonus

$5,000 SIGN ON BONUS Minimum salary - $36/hour Work Schedule : 7p-7a ; 3-4 twelve hour shifts each week (36-48 hours each week) Summary: The Nurse (RN) – Behavioral Health Urgent Care (BHUC) Integrated manages medications, screens medical issues, and promotes health in a Tier IV BHUC, engaging beneficiaries in whole-person care for mental health and substance abuse crises.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Manages meds with providers; administers/documents treatments; screens/monitors side effects (AIMS, nursing assessments). Builds rapport; engages in health promotion/prevention/education; develops med adherence strategies. Coordinates with providers; educates team on symptoms/side effects. Directs/supervises LPNs; supports triage/medical screenings (vitals, emergencies).

Documents billable encounters in EMR within 24 hours. Other duties: supports IVC, discharge planning, follow-ups.

Qualifications

Education/Experience Must possess minimum of Associate’s in Nursing with 1 year experience with serious mental illness. Required Skills/Abilities Medical knowledge Empathetic interaction Strong clinical skills Independent/minimal supervision. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Valid NC/Compact Nursing License Driver's license/insurance.
