Plant Mechanic Assistant - Sewer Treatment Plant

Essential Job Functions:   Responsible for the inspection, cleaning, servicing, repair and proper mechanical operation of a wide range of equipment, controls and physical facilities used in a wastewater treatment operation, including major and minor repair work to pumps, motors, and other mechanical equipment as well as buildings and fixtures; utilizes a wide range of equipment including common hand and power tools, welding machines, acetylene/oxygen cutting machines, drill presses, air compressors, sand blasters, paint sprayers, etc.
