Job Responsibilities

Plans and directs an expanding and flexible program of aquatics for all groups and ages; and assists in coordinating regularly scheduled events Recommends the purchase of proper supplies and equipment for program operation; maintains inventory of materials, equipment, and supplies Inspects equipment and facilities for security and safety Interviews, selects, and schedules employees for planned events and activities Provides training, guidance, and direction to employees and plans and implements recognition Supervises, directs, and evaluates assigned staff, processing employee concerns and problems Prepares and/or directs the preparation of special reports, such as, activity analyses, brochures, etc Supervises the daily activities of the facilities Required to operate pool equipment; tests chemicals for water quality; assure all water safety methods are strictly adhered to Deals with customer and citizen complaints concerning the employees or facility May be required to complete incident/accident reports Completes and maintains staff schedules Requirements: 4-5 years of employee management experience CPR/First Aid Certified, preferred Must have 8-10 years experience in an aquatics related field Passionate about swimming Customer service oriented Must be organized, professional and a team player This position requires evening and weekend work as well as regional travel to pool locations Salary: $60,000 - $65,000 annual pay Full Time Position with full benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k + matching, Disability) Job Type: Full-time Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee discount Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: In person Salary $60,000 - $65,000 per year
