Head Swim Coach

The Swem. School is looking for a patient and motivating Swim Coach with a passion and knowledge of the sport of swimming to develop our Swem. Team and our swimmers’ skills. This position will create and implement a Competitive and/or Recreational Swimming Program in accordance with league guidelines.

Responsibilities

The Swim Coach will be responsible for developing, organizing, supervising, and implementing a year-round Swim Team season and clinics Able to manage all groups by developing a coordinated training and practice plan Not limited to but including dry land workouts, strength training, and daily workout plans Promoting the program through events, flyers, and other creative methods to garner support.

Ability to evaluate program performance and needs Establish and evaluate swim team member individual goals, and provide individual and team feedback for improvement and recognition Development of team roster, team registration, meet lineups, volunteer recruitment, and all other administrative aspects of running the team Communicates information on swim team meets; provides information on location, transportation, and other areas of logistics Coordinating with team parents to develop volunteers and garner support Requirements: Passionate about swimming 2-3 years of swim coaching experience CPR/First Aid Certified USA Swim Coach Certified, preferred Able to work with all age groups and levels of swimmers Must be organized, professional, and a team player Salary $18 - $20 per hour
