This position exists to provide technical leadership that champions a customer-first mindset and a culture of quality within the engineering team. As a mentor and guide, a primary function is to establish and enforce quality standards, ensuring the team delivers scalable, high-quality systems that create measurable value for our users.Required technical and professional expertise * Technical Impact: Leads the design and development of software solutions for a subsystem or component. * Ensure Software Quality and Reliability: Owns the quality of their code and contributes to testing frameworks. * Internal and External Collaboration: Recognized as an active contributor to internal tooling or upstream projects, serving as a role model for community engagement. Often serves as a project reviewer or maintainer. * Mentor and Develop Engineering Talent: Mentors and coaches other engineers. * Own and Deliver Business Impact: Owns and delivers features with clear business impact, to deliver end user value. * Apply and Advance Technical Practices: Supports and implements the adoption of new tools within their team. * Leverage and Utilize AI Tools: Identifies and resolves moderately complex issues by implementing AI-powered agents to automate non-routine workflows and enhance existing team processes. * SDLC: Champions and helps refine the team's SDLC, identifying areas for improvement and mentoring junior engineers on best practices to ensure a predictable and high-quality development process.
